“New York – Christie’s is pleased to announce its Mid-Season Sale of Prints & Multiples, taking place July 21st. The sale encompasses strong selections of Post-War & Contemporary, Modern and Old Master works, highlighted by excellent representations from artists including Ed Ruscha, Bruce Nauman, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso. Comprising 432 works, ranging from $400-15,000, this sale
offers collectors the opportunity to grow their collection at every entry point.

Christie’s Print Department is honored to incorporate works from several important collections within the sale, including eleven lots from esteemed collector Mitch Miller, and three exquisitely framed Rembrandt etchings with institutional provenance, which is among the Property Being Sold to Benefit the American Friends of the Israel Museum. Also being highlighted is a robust selection of three-dimensional multiples, a category whose reoccurring success was demonstrated by the single owner sale of Picasso Ceramics that took place in April 2011, which achieved rare white glove results, with a 100% sell-through rate. The selection of objects within the July sale includes important works from Anish Kapoor, Robert Rauschenberg, Claes Oldenburg, Richard Artschwager and Pablo Picasso among others.”
