Gallery SEOMI opened in Cheongdam district in southern part of Seoul in 2003. It has its roots in the parent company
‘Seomi’ located in Gahoe, north side of the city, founded and run by HONG Song-Won, regarded as an internationally
prominent art dealer and collector in her own right, has established the distinguished reputation of the most exclusive
vision in contemporary fine arts since 1988. Its exhibition history includes Gerhard Richter(1995), Allighiero
Boetti(2004), and Damien Hirst(2007) as a space that initiates under the highest standards and history in the field of
contemporary fine arts as well as exclusive masterpieces such as 20th century designs.
