HADA CONTEMPORARY | VYNER STREET PROJECT
Vyner Street announce the launch of a 12 month programme of exhibitions, site specific projects and installations by established and emerging artists from South Korea.
The establishment of HADA Contemporary as an independent company was the logical conclusion to a period of collaboration between Tony Pontone, owner and founder of Albemarle Gallery and Tom Woo, managing agent and curator for several important Korean artists, now HADA’s cofounder and Managing Director.
Albemarle Gallery has provided HADA with a sound and solid base from which to develop it’s philosophy and strategy. The next exciting stage in HADA’s development is the Vyner Street Project, an idea conceived by Tom Woo and fully endorsed and supported by the Albemarle Gallery.
The Vyner Street programme provides a platform to showcase major and important works, which will attract the attention of public institutions, museums and contemporary art collections in the UK and mainland Europe. Several artists have already caught the eye of the Saatchi Gallery having been selected to participate in their forthcoming Korean Collective this Summer.
In addition to these diverse and ambitious installations, there will be many aesthetically pleasing works of great interest to discerning collectors, architects, interior designers and curators of corporate collections.
