Houghton Hall revisited

Houghton Hall shall open the doors to its marvellous estate soon where artworks shall be curated by Thierry Morel. An evening soiree was given at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly where guests were given a private viewing of the Bronze exhibition currently on show. With a mixture of languages, the evening was a perfect introduction to the hectic week of art that would ensue.

The magnificent art collection of Great Britain’s first Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole, sold to Catherine the Great to adorn the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, shall be reassembled in its spectacular original setting for the first time in over 200 years.
