A photography exhibition capturing the legacy of Renauld sunglasses from 1961 to 2023 featuring previously unseen shots of Elvis Presley and many other icons. For a period of four days only, Renauld will be unlocking their photographic archive of over fifty iconic images depicting celebrity, fashion and editorial shots, some being shown for the very first time to the public.
The exhibition also celebrates the launch of the Elvis by Renauld range of luxury sunglasses, and the return of the authentic 1961 Elvis ‘Memphis’ model. In a world first the Elvis ‘Memphis’ houses a piece of authentic Elvis memorabilia in the lens. The limited edition range of Elvis by Renauld sunglasses can viewed and purchased at Proud Galleries in central London throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Renauld and Authentic Brands Group are proud to announce a collaboration to produce a special edition sunglass to be known as the ‘Elvis’ by Renauld. Throughout the early Sixties, Elvis was an enthusiastic fan of Renauld and recently several new images have surfaced of him wearing the brand at various filming locations and events.
The corroborated story goes that while filming ‘ Follow that Dream’, in Ocala, Florida, in 1961, Elvis decided he wanted a pair of the new wraparound sunglasses and sent his security to town to buy some. When they returned to say they were sold out, Elvis spied someone wearing the sunglasses in the crowd of 100’s asking for autographs. After a brief negotiation between the owner and the security guard the sunglasses changed hands for $100 and Elvis wore them for at least the next 2 years.
Renauld has collaborated with the owners of the Elvis Presley estate, Authentic, in customising the Elvis Edition of the Renauld Sixty One and its unique leather case. In fact, three new sunglass models have been designed, incorporating some new patented technology.
The Elvis ‘Memphis’ by Renauld sunglass is presented in 24ct gold plate with a beautiful black and gold leather case embossed with a distinctive Elvis Presley signature. Based on the iconic Renauld Sixty-One, the sunglass is unique in that it contains a ‘real piece of Elvis’ keepsake housed within the lens. This patented and radical Renauld precision lens engineering seamlessly integrates a wafer-thin, transparent and vacuum-sealed compartment into the aerodynamic shape of the lens. The Elvis ‘Vegas’ is also based on the iconic and original Renauld Sixty One with Elvis signature engraved on the arms and lenses with a grey lenses.
